The long haired brunette whimpered as everyone else left. She sat on the cold grass and watched as the wind blew and the trees sway. She could hardly see. She had been crying all day after all.
She ran her delicate hand softly over the top of the marble in front of her.
Quinn
Rachel shuddered. This was because of her. Quinn was dead, because of her.
Her big doe eyes filled up with tears, wondering exactly why she was still here.
Foot steps approached her from behind. And she heard them falter as they got closer and eventually stopped.
“Rachel… do you need a ride home?” Finn’s voice asked.
Rachel sniffled, whipping furiously at her eyes. “N-no. I’m fine. I can do it on my own.” She stated.
Finn gave out a sad chuckle.
“I know…” The tone in his voice suggested something else, something more than what he was saying to her.
“Know what?” She sat stoned faced, looking at Quinn’s Grave stone.
“That you loved her. Thats why- why i wanted to get married so quickly.”
Rachel choked. “What?”
“You loved her.”
“No, Finn. I love her. Now pl-please. Go.”
And without another word the tall teen aged boy walked away, shuffling his feet in the grass.
Rachel dropped her head in her hands, she loved Quinn. And yet, she blamed herself for all of this.
A quiet breeze ran through her hair, and Rachel could have sworn she heard something.
In fact… she had.
“I’m not mad at you, Rachel…”
And just as quick as Quinn’s voice had came. It was gone. Before Rachel had the chance to say goodbye.
